Grant and Alan,
Good show. It would be nice to see a bit more dynamic interaction with virtual guests like Nathan, but I also understand that the webcam format isn’t necessarily optimal for back-and-forth dialog.
I visited Nathan’s website and also looked up his video submission for Tim F’s Cold Remedy Challenge submission on you-tube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEkuJ_y7hWI) – Very entertaining submission, I particularly like the zebra snuggie.
The Goldstar Chili eating competition was remarkable. I tried to do the over/under on you guys and bet that Grant would eat 8 coneys in 20 minutes while Alan would make it through all 10 due to his comfortable clothes (this is one competition in which the draw-string sweats seem like an advantage) and his sports-related education and experience. Sad to say, I didn’t win my bet – No coneys for me!

We are taking requests.
First – for Grant – follow @ripsup on twitter ( http://twitter.com/ripsup ) so I can direct message you cause had something I was wanting to share but can’t in public.
I know this always counts on the person being interviewed, but may want to see if they could record their video/audio on their end and have them send that to you as well. That way when your boys are putting together the final mix they will have a cleaner/higher quality copy then the jerky Skype one you are saving locally. Again this is 100% dependent on the person being interviewed and their abilities to get this going on their end. As well will have to wait till they upload the file to you (which could be sizable.)
You were all over the link love this time so keep that up.
As for the episode, Boob was great as always. Glad Grant chunked so it wasn’t 100% spoiled for me by Matt. Sorry Grant
This one getting long, I’ll make another comment about the interview format.
PS – my POS cheap webcam doesn’t like Windows 7 64bit (the quality was about 10 times worst then the NZ skype) so no vid response just yet. Going to order a Firewire cable today so I can get my old DV camcorder and then we should be a go, so expect next week saying the shipping gods take pity on me. Is it possible for us to embed videos like you do? I know it counts on what plugins and such are being used that determine what/how it’s done.

Another well done episode! Alan had me worried there near the end, and I was actually thinking that I had backed the wrong horse. But upon further review, the call on the field was overturned, as the video evidence at the end of the episode showed.
I believe that brings the number of times that things that I have suggested that ended up with Grant vomiting to 2! You’re welcome Mr. Peelle.
Can’t wait to see the store and lock episode, I know that will be episode near and dear to Alan’s heart to film.
I’m sure this topic has been addressed before, but I was wondering if there was an interview episode in the works with the wives. I am sure it would be an interesting look for the ‘Menions to get a first hand account on how they first felt with this endeavor.

What’s up guys!? Loved the show! They are always informative. Insurance – ehealthinsurance . com aggregates a lot of insurance companies to compare prices and plan options – check it out. I found a decent plan there. Hope it helps. Would love to hear some more about financing properties i.e. banks, owner financing, etc…thanks!
