Mr. Peelle has completed his submission for Oprah’s search for the next television star.
Here is the premise of the video.
People have a primal need to connect. This desire is so powerful we have built entire empires around helping people meet this need, and today we find ourselves in a unique place in time – we are in the infancy of a connection revolution. Social media websites and mobile applications are revolutionizing the way we connect with one another. There should be a television show that does the same.
We should leverage emerging technologies for every opportunity they have to strengthen traditional media. Rather than take an existing TV show and create a social media strategy around it, wouldn’t it be powerful to create a show that built social media engagement into the very fabric of the show from its inception? Its about being present in several streams of communication so we can engage a larger audience of viewers in an active dialogue. Let’s…connect.

Second Topic: What is Vokle? Their tagline is a place where you can meet your hero.
The Ren Men received an email a couple of days ago, from Vokle stating, “We have a new live q&a platform that’s aiming to connect public speakers, entertainers and artists with their audience. I wanted to personally reach out to you guys regarding a virtual q&a with your fans across the world to have an actual dialogue and also promote anything that you’re currently up to. (Speaking engagements, interviews, etc)
We’ve had online Q&A’s with people like Imogen Heap (grammy winner), Arianna Huffington (Huffington Post), Kevin Rose (Founder of Digg), Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater).
To be blunt, we need more diversity. It would be wonderful to see your show live, sharing new ideals with your audience as well as creating a broader, positive view on living life in general. I know for a fact that you guys would be big players in changing the face of live video communication.
I’d love to give you both a quick demo if you’re interested, please let me know. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks!”
We want to hear from you, the Ren-Menions. Have you guys watched or participated in any Vokle videos? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance…

Ren Menions! Patience is a virtue… look at what is coming up in Episode 26! We are in NYC with the families… Today, we went to Central Park, FAO Schwartz, and Times Square… tomorrow our plans include the Statue of Liberty.
We have reviewed the footage of our interview with Gary Vee and we can sum it up in to one word – EPIC! Can’t wait to get the show edited and posted… until we speak again, peace.

10 Days and no new episode?!?! We know, we know…
Here are a couple of updates…
- We are heading to New York City on Tuesday to conduct an interview. This has taken a great deal of time to plan a vacation/work interview with two sets of families. We will be working on the final details right up until departure.
- Mini – Chalk Talk – we are interviewing Mr. Gary Vaynerchuk and would love to get some questions from the Ren-Menions, to ask Gary Vee.
- We need your help, because we have this guy, going to interview Gary Vee, please, please, help.
- We would like to send a huge congratulations to Sunny D for winning the ‘Most Comments’ contest. He will receive a free round-trip ticket for a Southwest flight.
- We finished 1st at Jim Dandy’s Ohio State Backyard Barbecue Contest on Sunday (video will follow). Yes, 1st. We don’t know how either…
- Last but not least a huge update for the Vending Group…check it out here (thanks Matt E, for the suggestion)

Welcome to the The Ren Men Wrap-up, each month we will discuss the prior month’s goings-on.
On the real estate side of the business, we are currently at 83 homes under contract and our one commercial property, the store and lock.
We got 0 new houses under contract, in the month of May. ‘Chirp…chirp…chirp…” those are our Ren-crickets. Now before all the Ren-Menions and Nay-sayers ask about if we have thinned ourselves out too far- we haven’t. Our real estate business placed more offers in May than any other previous month. We just didn’t get any houses bought.
Why not?
Well, the $8,000 tax credit completed last month. Prices might be going up, but really real estate is cyclical, just like any other business. Some months we get a bunch of houses, some months we get a few houses, and some months we get no houses.

The average profit of each car is $469.00. The Ford Taurus is the outlier. The car was bought before we started test driving cars. We were told the repair cost would be nearly $2,000. We decided to auction the Taurus and wash our hands clean of it. We ended up losing $700 on that tranaction. If we hadn’t had that car in the equation our profit per car would be $609.00. We are happy with $609.00 a car and content with $469.00, especially for our first month. Our profit is split with our sales staff.
We will be collecting the money in June and will have a breakdown of each location. We also placed two vending massage chairs. Our profit is split with the bar owners. We have all 21 machines placed, but still have not made some pickups. More info will be in next month’s update.
