After reading an article on wired.com about a Toronto man “cracking the scratch code,” Grant and Alan try their hand at cracking the same code for the Ohio Lottery’s Bingo scratch game.
Runtime: 26:57
A quick rundown of the episode:
• Welcome to Episode 43.
• Grant and Alan try to ‘Crack the Scratch Lottery Code!’
This is our 101st post! We missed celebrating the 100th post, so here we go.
“The measurement is taken in a swimsuit, preferably 2-piece for women, speedo type for men. (Don’t worry, we have them available if you don’t have one!)” – (Quote from the location for our bod pod testing) —W…T…F?
We have scheduled our bod pod testing on Wednesday, look for the results in the next episode they should be priceless (TV-MA, we are sure if we have to squeeze our fat asses into one pair of speedos).
On the Ren Auto Group front, (yes we still own it), Craig, our car salesman, sold four cars last week, during a blizzard!
We will be getting very serious in the upcoming weeks in dealing with our information product.
Last be not least, we can’t thank everyone enough for coming out and supporting us at the Ohio meet-up with Adam Baker and Annie Sorensen. We really had a blast and we will try to have another meet-up, in the very near future.
Our boy Adam Baker and his family spent last week with the Ren Men. He recounts the week in this phenomenal blog post, read his blog post, our words can’t do it justice.
We will give you a snippet of his post, enjoy the video. Once again, make lots and lots of fun.
Due to the balmy heat and clear skies The Ren Men will not be filming today.
Instead Alan has offered up an old school video. Look for the toe-headed kid, in the front row, rocking a purple T-shirt and shorts (not much has changed in his clothing preference), please enjoy and make lots and lots of fun. (In the preview, that’s him standing up in the right corner of the screen)
The Art of Non-Cornformity had been on the Ren Men list of books for long time. I received this book for Christmas, and burnt through it in two days.
It was a solid book. It is a great starter book. It’s funny, because everything that Chris Guillebeau describes in his book, we did by accident. He talked about building a business, building an army, bringing your army along for the ride, and asking your army for help. As far as the Ren Men Show, we did all of that by sheer accident. Whoo hooo, go Ren Men!
Guillebeau’s message is simple: You don’t have to live your life the way other people expect you to! This a hard thing to accomplish, there are many nay-sayers out there that will try to bring you down.
Other topics CG discusses are:
“What do I really want to get out of life?”
“What can I offer the world that no one else can?”
These are hard questions to answer but what else in life can more important than these questions? People say life is short. I don’t think anything else in my life is longer than life itself. So, how in the world, can life be short? It’s the longest thing you do! I think, people mean to say, life goes by fast, especially, when you don’t stop and enjoy it.
For starters, this will propel you to get off the bench! Secondly, we will get Chris Guillebeau on the Ren Men Show within 30 days, challenge accepted!
