Here it is, the much-anticipated Four Hour Body Book. This is a big ass book, over 500 pages! In usual Timmy fashion, he hacks his own book within the first 12 pages. He tells readers not to read it cover to cover but use it more as a reference manual, by finding the things you are most interested in and reading those pages first. I did not do that. I read it cover to cover and hacked it along the way.
Some of the topics that most interested me were: the slow-carb diet, Occam’s protocol, Myotatic crunch, cat-vomit, kettlebells and adding 100 pounds to my bench. Now, don’t get me wrong many other topics that were discussed did intrigue me, but the aforemetioned topics most intrigued me.
The Ren Men will be taking on the Four Hour Body Diet/Slow Carb Diet. I don’t really like to call things diet, because this ‘diet’ could be a way of life. My diet consists of nearly exactly what is described in Tim’s book, so I don’t believe it will be that different for me. The workout regimen in Occam’s Protocol, calls for working about twice a week, and two exercises per workout, something I can handle. Let me tell you this, the 5/5 cadence will absolutely kick your ass!
I started this plan a week ago. I started to crave my cheat day on Thursday night, then again on Friday night. Finally, Saturday made it, and I really didn’t feel like cheating, but…I did, with vengeance, by God! By 10:30 am I had three desserts! I felt slow on my cheat day but the air squats and wall presses really helped. I didn’t feel overly bloated and ate many, many cookies. We’ll post our total inches, body fat, and weights in a later post, now go eat some protein…

We hope all of our Ren Menions had a great holiday break. We did…family, friends, fun it was great!
On to today’s subject…What did the Ren Men learn in 2010? We learned starting a used car business may sound easy, but is hard work. Starting a great used car business, must be tremendously hard work (we wouldn’t know).
Here are some of our results from 2010: we purchased 26 houses (just over two per month) compared to 27 in 2009, not a big reduction. We have 15 of our 22 boxer machines placed, compared to all 22 placed in 2009. This is a big reduction, we need to look at our vending business, pronto. We produced zero information products compared to zero information products in 2009, right on pace!
What is upcoming for 2011? We are planning a kick-ass RV trip of some kind (we have had a Ren Menion approach us about being our tour manager and promoting us rock band style, we’ll get you guys some details, very soon). We are shooting for purchasing three homes per month, 36 in total for the year. We plan on finding 10 new, Annie Sorensens, Adam Bakers and Pat Flynns. You will see many more book reviews.
What have we accomplished during the break? Actually a few things. Our Ren Food Service is no longer. Grant sold our eight smoothie machines for nearly $6,000 and we recaptured some money from our initial 30K investment. We learned a valuable lesson, the Ren Men will not be in the beverage business (maybe, you just never know). Alan read two books over the break, the reviews will be coming up shortly. We have Adam Baker, consulting with us, today, on our information products/RV trip/life in general (we are hoping to capture video, but we don’t know if it will work out).
Thanks again, Ren Menions, let us know your New Year’s Resolutions.

Even under five inches of white powder The Ren Men are still hard at work, planning their summer (can’t get here fast enough) RV trip.
WE STILL NEED A NAME FOR THIS TRIP! (Crushing the Four Hour Work Week)
The interactive map is up check it out here or here. Let’s keep this (snow)ball rolling.

The Ren Men were lucky recipients of Tim Ferriss’s new book “The Four Hour Body“. We received autographed copies. Once we get through it, all 500+ pages, we’ll review it.
The very next comment on our blog will be comment number 1000.
We have a few milestone moments coming soon…
1000 comments and our one year anniversary.
Boy, do we feel we have come a long way in one short year. We are looking forward to another stellar year of shows to come…
Thanks for coming along for the ride.
